Description
A waning crescent moon falls between the last quarter moon phase and the new moon phase. This is my favorite part of the moon’s cycle – from full to new, when it can be helpful to align our energy by slowing down, checking in and clearing out clutter to make space for the next cycle.
This weaving was completed on a moon-shaped frame. The weaving includes a string to hang it, but it can also be set on a shelf. I hand spin much of the yarn in my weavings, including from the fleece of our alpaca. I often find inspiration in nature and stories, and love playing with color and texture.
