At the beginning of 2023, I chose the word “balance” to be my year-long mantra — a vision that I would practice hard (yes, ironic) to keep in focus, front and center.

Welcome to my blog! I am grateful for the opportunity to be both a farmer and a fiber artist. I get to be involved in the entire process of creation. In fact, I believe that the process (in the biggest sense of the word) is just as important as the final product. Slowing down and being intentional with how I focus my time and energy has brought me so much joy and peace. My hope is that the art I create reflects this important connection and can help others to feel the same. This blog is where I share more about the process behind my art, from what’s happening on the farm to the messy side of processing fleece through the steps of making a finished product.
When you know….
Hello! A year ago on my birthday, I took a leap and started putting my art “out there” in the world. I had the grand plan to have everything together, with a website, blog and shop all perfectly positioned. I was not, however, ready at all.
